The General Contractor, my husband, also works at a job (obviously or how else would we pay for all of this?), and goes to school as well for his Masters in Computer Science. So, sometimes life gets in the way of our renovations because he has other things that are higher in the priority listing. But this weekend, class was nearly over, and we were ready to do some damage. And that’s exactly what we did!
Jonathan pulled off trim like a pro and had the best time banging holes in the wall we took down. At first he was concerned that we’d lost our minds. After all, putting holes in the walls is a huge no-no. And here we were giving him mallet and telling him to bang away. Crazy parents!

We also burned a little bit on Sunday, but only half heartedly. We were a bit tired and I wanted to save some (ha ha ha, there’s just so MUCH) for when my parents come up to visit for Christmas.
